Product Architecture

Our Carrier and Broker Exchange solutions are software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings. As a result, they can be deployed economically and rapidly, ensuring an easy transition to online health insurance distribution. Additionally, we host all data and information for you. To guarantee its accuracy, platforms are updated on a continuous basis at no additional cost to you.

eHealth Exchange Utilities are web services that can be integrated into your own custom-built online store through standard web-service API calls. They are designed to help power your quoting and application transactions.

Security

We employ rigorous security standards to protect your data. Both you and your applicants access eHealth through secure web portals and interfaces. Transactions occur over secured connections via automated data transfer.

In addition, most system and security administration tasks are managed by eHealth and are not accessible from outside our network. As a result, our infrastructure is extremely difficult to infiltrate. We are also able to restrict all external interactions with the data center to a limited number of secure ports. Since these are the only routes by which data moves into and out of the data center, ours is naturally more secure than other data centers.
